Commitment form for Charlottesville Municipal Band Winter Concert
DMR Adventures has been invited to form a youth chorus for the Charlottesville Municipal Band Winter Concert on December 10 to sing a choral medley from The Polar Express.

This is a wonderful honor, and a well-attended event at the MLK Performing Arts Center. In order to participate, you will need to commit to 2-3 rehearsals with DMR, 2 rehearsals with the Municipal Band and the dress rehearsal and performance. We are not yet sure about wardrobe/clothing for the performance, but students will be responsible for providing any required clothing (this will likely be either a DMR shirt or a black dress/dressy outfit). Please fill out the form completely if you are willing to commit to this project and go to the registration link as well. 4th graders and up are invited to participate,  but if you have a student in 3rd grade who has had choral music experience, please reach out to me if you are interested.  My understanding is that the concert is free for the public.  There is a very small fee of $25/person to participate (This breaks down to $3.57 per event/rehearsal). This will cover the cost of staffing and administrative expenses. Please let me know if you cannot afford this participation fee but would like for your child to participate.
